I am fascinated by the marriage of the latest technology to the perennial challenges of the utility industry. With the arrival on the scene of cloud computing for increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence, advanced deep learning, and advanced sensor technology, the opportunities to solve old problems in creative ways are endless. I look for ways to “build a better mousetrap,” using the building blocks of innovation to improve day-to-day operations at TVA and be fully compliant with Governance and Cyber Security.
