Mike began his career with Evergy working in the Transmission Maintenance department assisting with creating proactive maintenance strategies, contributing to restoration efforts during outages, coordinating with maintenance crews during normal and emergent operations, and building an internal UAS program as time allowed.

Since 2017, Mike has been focusing on the management and further development of internal UAS operations within Evergy. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Technology – Unmanned Aircraft Systems before beginning his career at Evergy and applies his depth of knowledge of unmanned systems to help create a safer, more efficient working environment within the utility industry.
