Matt Fernandez is an Innovation & Digital Enablement professional with a seven-year background in various IT functions including project management, capital portfolio management, and advanced analytics. He specializes in using Design Thinking to define and translate business needs to development teams working in Scrum.

Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Information Systems Management from Duquesne University in 2015, his MBA in Finance from The University of Akron in 2018 and is also a Certified Scrum Master. He first joined FirstEnergy as an intern in 2013, and his current title is Innovation Business Analyst.
